The Queen working in final days of life

The right, or choice to work until our own death, should be protected now, if the individual wishes.

The possibilities to complete your life work in your last days has shown us that people can achieve great things before they die.

The Queen met Liz Truss to confirm her as Prime Minister. Her last significant duty.

At the City Hall, when I was there this year I saw posters called ‘Dying to Work’, I want initiatives to support people who want to work. To be supported to work if you are facing a terminal illness.

With the greatest sadness we mourn, with countless others around the world, the passing of our beloved Queen Elizabeth II. Adored and enormously respected by so many as one of society’s truly great role models for her unrelenting hard work. Her commitment and service to her subjects and humanity at large. We are grateful for Her Majesty’s government over many years around the world, and through the personal service of so many of our veterans. May you rest in peace our dear Queen.

The Cake side affect, or size effect

I want to write today about how the job as carer or nurse type roles, make it really difficult to plan your diet and provide yourself with proper nutrition. Typically shifts are twelve hours, and its simpler to have two staff to rota for every 24 hours of continuous care needed, than to make shifts more human.

I remember a team leader who said ‘does anyone ever just go to the supermarket, buy a whole cake, and eat it in their car?’

Yes there was evidence of some binge eating, or emotional and boredom eating, by the other care workers I was alongside.

I’ve been going to the gym again and its been going well for me.

I’m hoping to reset my body into some better habits.

Uncommitted what happens when commitment becomes a place of conflict?

Blog and personal journey update….

I wrote a few months back about my feelings on being committed by being presently committed to just one opportunity. And in the last two weeks that commitment has been ended by my employer.

So it’s only right to go back to that feeling of ‘commitment’ and calendar planning.

I stuck three pages of white A4 paper over my wall planner.

Most of my failings to keep a commitment, usually end with the other removing the ‘commitment’. Because I am very loyal overall and likely to continue to complete and continue with my commitment, until told to STOP.

What I learned about work growing up……

I learned thinking, that being sick from work means, you are having vomiting and toilet troubles. So in a very literal and obvious sense not being able to take oneself to work.

How else to be sick from work. Or what else to do, if it might be.. becoming uncomfortable, or a place of conflict.

So now I am free to find something else to work on, work to do, getting a wage or salary. Sometimes I think of the way fulfilled my job. I could go a whole day, with nothing productive to work on, it seemed. Sure the routines were in place, and moving from seat to seat of responsibilities.

Wordy tips

Even WordPress tools are saying I am using too many passive sentences in my writing!! I’m also using this article as a test on new WordPress SEO tools. More subheadings and get the reading ease better using active prose.

Time to look ahead

Having some time away from the job, which looks like I am going to try to get fitter, and has enabled me to find some thing to work on. I have the chance to look for people to work on that with.

  1. I am going to find team mates who are ready to be discovered or reconnected with!
  2. Searching for the next assignment to be decided on or applied for, sites like Indeed
  3. Chilling and relaxed mindset needed, but motivation required too!
